Fox body Mustangs have shock towers, not strut towers in the sense that they do not see the load of the coil-springs. From the factory, the springs are contained within the control arms and the subframe, directly distributing their loads into the front frame rails.

With coilover conversions, the towers see loads they simply weren't designed for.
If you don't feel like trusting 40 year old sheet metal and weak spot welds to handle that task, we've got you covered.

Our weld in plates tie the tower interface into the frame rails, reinforcing the tower as a whole. These parts were CAD designed, based on high resolution scan data of the chassis, so the fitment is outstanding.

Two versions are available:
- OEM interface (matches the holes and slots in stock towers)
- FDF spec (these match the interface on FDF top hats, which offer dramatic caster and KPI correction)

Please note, the bent OEM interface style plates are shown "overlaid" on a car with the FDF plates already installed, just to give people a better visualization of how they are located in the car.

Also note, Ford changed the bolt pattern location for foxbody cars in 1990.
Our plates are based on a scan of a 79-89 car.
While they can be made to work in later models, drilling will be required.

Designed and made in the USA.
Made from precision laser cut steel, 3 mm thickness.
Plates come flat and can easily be bent to fit the chassis during install.
See the recommended pre-bend angle graphic to make your job even easier.

MADE TO ORDER, please allow about 2 weeks for manufacturing.
